Saigon Rugby Club Celebrates 25th Anniversary This Saturday (11th March)
Just establishing a club in a foreign sport in a place as hectic as Saigon is an achievement. Having that club prosper for 25 years is something else! The Saigon Rugby Club has seen generations of ex-pats and locals celebrate the game of rugby together and is now celebrating it’s 25th anniversary.
Head to RMIT, D7, to celebrate 25 years of friendship and rugby in Saigon!
A 10s tournament will be held with several Gecko teams and all the Geckos regional rivals who have played with Saigon in the last two decades (Men, Women and Old Boys). Many Gecko legends will be flying from all over the world to celebrate!
Live music, beers and a pig on a spit all day Saturday 11th of march 2017 at RMIT University.
What would a 10s tournament be without an after party? The Deck in District 2 has been fully booked for a celebratory function and cocktail party. Following that the fun will move to Mix & Paint Bar Live HCMC (800 meter walk from the Deck) to watch the England vs Scotland at 11 pm on a giant 9*4 meters screen. Discounted drinks for all tournament participants will be served, And once the game is over 2 DJs will play their best Disco tunes throughout the night!!!
