Rams Head to Tennessee For Titanic Tilt
By Harry Hodge
Two weeks left in the regular season, and the playoff picture is as clear as mud.
One game that will go a long way to cement playoff position is a matchup between the surprising Los Angeles Rams and the Tennessee Titans. Both teams need a win badly to either firm up their playoff position, as the Rams look to leapfrog other division leaders, or just making the postseason in the Titans’ case.
Look for Tennessee to alternate on the ground between DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry, with the two backs being an almost even split of the more than 1,300 yards of the Titans’ rushing yards. Across the field, look for young gunslinger Jared Goff to air it out to receivers Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods and multitasker Todd Gurley. Gurley has been a force all season long for the Rams and is a key reason for their 10-4 record, closing in on 2,000 all-purpose yards as a threat to run or receive. The Titans need to contain Gurley, or this weekend could be their nightmare before Christmas.
