This looks familiar! Cavs to defend title against loaded Warriors

By Harry Hodge

It’s déjà vu all over again in the NBA Finals, with the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers squaring off yet again for basketball supremacy.

The polarizing LeBron James has once again taken the Cavs on his shoulders, playing like a man possessed while steamrolling over the Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics to get back to the championship series. But he’ll need all the help he can get from teammates Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson and more as they take on a loaded Golden State team.

Can Lebron lift the Cavs to upset the GSW again in 2017?

Can Lebron lift the Cavs to upset the GSW again in 2017?

The Warriors blasted their way through the regular season and were considered a lock to take the crown last year, with Stephen Curry’s long-range shooting complementing marksman Klay Thompson and inside big Draymond Green. When LeBron and co. upset Golden State in an epic seven-game battle, the team retooled and landed prized free agent Kevin Durant in the offseason, after KD failed to snare a title as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder. So, if last year’s series was any indication, we’re in for a doozy once again, starting this Friday morning here in Vietnam.

The Warriors took what was considered the strongest squad in the league and added a superstar in Kevin Durant. Will it give them the edge in 2017's finals race?
