Hungary GP Preview
I think we should all be looking forward to the Hungary race this weekend.
It’s known as the black sheep of the European F1 family, since surprising results often come up here. For the first time this season, I’d be prepared to put money on a non-Mercedes driver winning the race this Sunday.
The battle we should be keeping an eye on this weekend is that of the two Red Bull drivers. Most of the corners at the Hungaroring are fairly slow and require a good aerodynamic setup, which is what the Red Bill team has in spades.
It also means we should be seeing some good results from Maclaren as well – they’ve been having hit-and-miss races lately with their still underpowered engine, so they need to claw back some championship points ASAP.
Both the qualifying and race are at 7pm Saigon time this Saturday and Sunday respectively – get to your nearest bar to watch the action this weekend!
