Auscham Grand Final(s) Eve Golf Scrambles

It’s the biggest week in Australian sport. The 2 biggest sporting leagues – AFL and NRL Grand finals fall on the same weekend. To celebrate this highlight on the Australian sporting and cultural calendar (nothing is more important than sport to Australian’s) The Australian Chamber of Commerce, Auscham, are kicking off the weekend with their now traditional Auscham Grand Final Golf Scrambles.

The event provides a day of golf, food and drinks, networking and excitement build up to the weekends huge games. This year the event has spread to 5 cities, HCMC, Hanoi, near Da Nang, Phu Quoc and Nha Trang. See the Auscham Vietnam site for more details.

  • Tee off: 12 midday
  • Breakfast at Jaspas Dong Khoi Str
  • Return bus
  • Golf fees, buggy (shared), Caddy
  • One kebab sandwich per player on golf course (served at Main Pop stand)
  • Beer (Heineken)/ Cider (Strongbow) (all day and evening)
  • Aquafina Water, Pepsi, Pepsi Light, 7 Up, Orange Twitter, Club Soda
  • Dinner buffet
  • Lindeman’s Wines (Bin 40 Merlot 2013; and Bin 65 Chardonnay 2014) by Red Apron (served with dinner)

Timings

  • 9am – Breakfast at Jaspas, 33 Dong Khoi from 9am,
  • 10am – Bus leaves Jaspas
  • 10am – Player check-in at VGCC reception from 10am
  • 11.30am – Group photo on West course starters area
  • 11.45am – Players move to their respective tee boxes
  • 12 noon – Shotgun start
